I don't care how lazy you may be feeling, or how inconvenient it may be to go find resources elsewhere, but you do not do this. I heard the coords mentioned in skype as 300,300 and I thought "Really? So close to spawn, and right next to my town?" So I had to log in to see how it looks. Click for zoom.    This is not cool. People have builds right in the area and you just made the entire area look like shit. You've taken sand literally up to the doorstep of the sandstone hut. Are you serious right now? Use some common sense people, the person who did this just made the entire landscape look like doodoo. I expect this to be repaired. I can't believe no alarms went off in your head that taking that much sand from right next to other peoples buildings might be a bad idea. I'm having problems wrapping my head around this one. Since we've started this map the understanding has been 2k from 0,0 is safe to build in, and when 1.8 comes out chunks will be deleted. Go outside of 2k for your big project material harvesting. Stop ruining the landscape inside 2k, and this was so close to spawn! It is literally the nearest desert to spawn. You've just made it look so terrible. Think about other people before you do this. Laziness is not an excuse. We are a close community and you're ruining your neighbors landscape. This just made my shit list. Fix it, this is ridiculous. |

I am 90% sure it is klax because he was taking sand from 350,350. Or soemthing around 300,300. We told him to do it outsider 2k,2k but he said he was to lazy...

This is insane, he literally took the sand out from underneath that person's desert house. Plus, I know that my big house still doesn't look good since it's under construction, but I am having to do enough work on the landscape around my house to make it look nice and somebody removing all of the sand along the beach does NOT help at all.
Let's say I needed dirt. Does that mean I am going to go just wipe out the landscape in front of somebody's house because I'm too lazy to go find dirt somewhere else? I don't see how this is any different. When people build in deserts, you can't just take all of the sand literally 1 block away from their build.

Someone from Northern Star or Gold Rush (rip) is now going to have to go out and find sand or something to cover this slice of ugly up.

I also took some sand from here, but not so much. I never take that much from one place. Always make sure things still look lovely when I leave it.
